Scheduled Hosting Accounts Transfer from Server 3 on Sunday, May 20
Dear Customers,
We are going to transfer a part of the accounts to a new server of ours as we would like to keep the overall performance on high level and supply you with excellent and reliable hosting service for many years to come.
Time of the maintenance:
The transfer is going to be performed on Sunday, May 20th at 07:00 am EST/10:00 am GMT. Accounts will be transferred 1 by 1 to make sure all data is transferred smoothly. We aim to keep downtime to a minimum and will be performing the transfer outside of business hours to minimize disruption.
After the transfer your hosting account is going to be fully restored on the new hosting server.
Could we please ask you to check the name servers of your domain names and make sure they are set to dns1/dns2.namecheaphosting.com or dns1/dns2.web-hosting.com.
If hosted domains are pointed to one of these set of nameservers, we will automatically update their DNS zones. No actions are required from you in this case.
If hosted domains are pointed to the old hosting nameservers which differ from our cluster ones, please re-point your domains to the following nameservers within 1 week period:
dns1.web-hosting.com and dns2.web-hosting.com
All customers whose accounts will be transferred, have received notifications with IP address of the new server. If your domains are pointed to the hosting server with the help of an A record, please use the IP address provided in the notification to update domains’s DNS zone.
The clients who have dedicated IP addresses assigned to their accounts will receive an additional email with instructions.
When the transfer starts, we will be constantly updating you via this blog post, which is why we highly advise you to bookmark this page.

Scheduled cPanel Upgrade on May 20th
Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you that we are planning to upgrade cPanel control panel’s version on all our Shared and Reseller servers to the latest stable release.
The upgrade is scheduled on Sunday, May 20th, 12.00 am EST.
During the maintenance, no downtime for the hosting services is expected. However, you may be unable to log into the cPanel and webmail for a brief period of time. Reseller customers may also experience same issues with logging onto their WHM accounts.

Scheduled Hardware Maintenance on Server19, May 17
Dear Customers
We would like to inform you that we are planning to change HDD on server 19 to a new one in order to keep our server’s stability and reliability on the highest possible level.
The maintenance will be carried out for Server 19 on May 17, 12AM EST.
Estimated time for the maintenance to be completed is 30 minutes. The server will be off-line during the maintenance and all the services will be unavailable.
Once the maintenance is finished, RAID rebuild process will start in order to synchronize all the data. But this process should not affect server’s performance significantly, and all the services will work smoothly.

[Resolved]Temporary Open-Xchange subscriptions management issues
Dear clients,
We regret to inform you that it is not possible to manage Open-Xchange email accounts from Namecheap accounts at the moment.
This applies only to new mailboxes creation, and password changes.
Purchases of email subscriptions will be processed successfully, and it will become possible to add mailboxes as soon as the maintenance is finished.
Existent email accounts will continue to receive mails and allowing to login via mail clients or through webmail interface.
This outage is connected with implementation of new mailboxes management features on Namecheap site, and unfortunately it could not be avoided.
Our developers are currently working on this case, and making everything possible to shorten the outage time.

A scheduled maintenance on Open-Xchange mail environment is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 27th at 6 AM EST | 10 AM GMT.
During the maintenance we are going to update mail and system software to most recent versions available.
The maintenance window is 2 hours, but incoming mail will not be lost, as out mail servers will be working during the maintenance.
This also means that it will be possible to continue using email clients with existent accounts without any limitations.
Webmail interface at mail.yourdomain.com or at oxwebmail.registrar-servers.com will be unavailable for a period of time, that should not exceed 1 hour.
If you expect any critical emails by time of the maintenance, they will not be lost. But we highly recommend configuring an email client to work with your OX email account, if you will need to read and send emails within the maintenance timeframe.
