[Finished] Namecheap.com Scheduled Maintenance, November 24

Dear Customers,

We will be performing a scheduled maintenance to upgrade the platform that Namecheap.com is hosted on on Monday 24th November.

There will be a 4 hour maintenance window from 01:00 EST / 06:00 GMT during which Namecheap.com will not be accessible.

The following services will also be affected during the maintenance window:

– Namecheap.com

– Namecheap API

– Private Email webmail access

– Dynamic DNS

Existing DNS records, Email and URL forwarding settings will work normally, however new entries can not be added during the downtime. Our support team will be available via chat and ticket systems.

It will not be possible to perform operations on Namecheap Private email accounts in Namecheap client area and login to webmail interface. Existing mailboxes will be receiving mail. You will also be able to use our email service in full with the help of email client software.

We are 60 minutes into the maintenance and are currently on track to move to our new location within the allocated window. We are currently working on the database migration and expect to have this completed shortly.

The migration itself has been completed, ahead of schedule. We are now thoroughly testing out our website and application before bringing the website back up. We will have a further update for you in 45 minutes.

Update @ 3:24 AM EST | 8:24 GMT
We are still fully testing out the Namecheap application on our new infrastructure. Some bugs have been identified and already fixed. We expect testing to continue for around another 45 minutes, then we’ll have a further update.

Update @ 4:05 AM EST | 9:05 GMT
We believe all of the bugs we identified have been fixed. We are performing a final round of testing before bringing the Namecheap.com site back online in the new location.

[COMPLETED] Comodo Scheduled Maintenance on November 22nd, 06:59 – 07:30 PM EDT

Dear Customers,

This announcement is to inform you about a forthcoming scheduled maintenance that is going to take place at Comodo Certificate Authority on Saturday, 22nd November 2014.

The time frame for the maintenance is the following:

23:59 GMT Saturday 22nd – 00:30 GMT Sunday 23rd November 2014
18:59 – 19:30 EST Saturday 22nd November 2014

Maintenance window is approximately 30 minutes.

The maintenance is not going to affect existing, new, pending or issued SSLs in any way.

It will not be possible to activate, reissue, renew or cancel any Comodo SSL certificate within the mentioned time frame.

[Completed] Temporary Technical Issues on Reseller Server 9

Dear Customers,

This is to inform you that our hosting Reseller Server 9 is experiencing temporary technical issues at the moment. Our technicians are currently working on this issue and doing their best to shorten the downtime and bring the server back to its normal functionality as soon as possible.

Estimated timeframe: No ETA

Affected services: The web sites and email of all accounts are unavailable. cPanel and WHM control panels, MySQL, FTP and SSH accounts are not accessible as well.

The issue was caused by kernel panic on the server side. Our technical team is investigating this matter at the moment. Additionally we are running file system scan to avoid any possible failures and generate system logs for further investigation of the issue. We shall update you immediately once all the services are fully restored.
