[Updated] Technical issues on Reseller 3 server.
Dear clients,
We need to inform you about an unscheduled maintenance, being carried out on Reseller 3 server.
Unfortunately we needed to temporary shut down web-server service to reduce load on hard disk drives. This results in unavailability of hosted websites.
Our technicians are currently doing their best to restore normal work of the server in shortest terms.
Approximate ETA is 30-60 minutes.

Unfortunately performance of shared server 15 may be slow due high HDD load caused by RAID array rebuild that has been started.
All essential services like web-server, FTP server, and others are working, but Web disks will be unavailable while the rebuilding is in progress.

[Completed] Scheduled Disabling of mod_userdir Module on Shared, Business, Reseller Servers
Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you that on Saturday, 26th November, mod_userdir module will be disabled on all shared, business and reseller servers.
When this module is disabled, you will not be able to check the site using http://server_IP/~cPanel_username link. In order to test the site functionality before changing DNS servers to our hosting ones, you need to edit “hosts” file on your computers. This file is usually located in \\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc directory and can be opened by notepad. You will need to add the following line to it:
server_IP_address domain.name
‘server_IP_address’ should be substituted for the server IP address where your domain is hosted on (you can find it in your cPanel or Welcome email) and ‘domain.name’ for the registered domain hosted on this server which content you would like to check.
Please note : if you are not an administrator, you will be unable to edit ‘hosts’. In order for you to check your site’s functionality, please update your DNS records to ours.

IP Re-numbering in AtlantaNAP Datacenter
Dear Customers,
We are glad to inform you that Namecheap was accredited by ARIN and received our own IP allocation. We will not be reselling IPs anymore and will be using our own IP space.
All shared, business, reseller and VPS servers located in AtlantaNAP datacenter will be assigned to new IP addresses. IP re-numbering procedure is to be performed from the 1st of October till the 1st of November. You still be able to use old IP addresses till the 1th of November. Additional notifications with all required settings will be sent to all customers 48 hours prior to the IP address assignation procedure.
Please make sure that all domains hosted on our servers are pointed to hosting nameservers – dns1.namecheaphosting.com and dns2.namecheaphosting.com. In this case no modifications in DNS zone are required.
If your domains are pointed to third-party/private nameservers or you have dedicated IP address, you will need to change settings according to instructions provided in the notification.
